4~7重点学习remain在GRE中的考试方法。
1. 单独使用表示“依然”;
2. 前面有转折表示朝下(上)的改变。
4. 出现了第二种考法的情况。第一个空填一个表示走下坡的词。
   deepening加深
   diminishing减少
   excessive过度
   debilitating削弱
   unavoidable不可避免的
   答案:B
5. continue to相当于remain。第一个空格是走下坡路。
error错误
retreat后退,颓败    powerful有力的
disarray混乱
jeopardy危害,危及    ineffective无效的
command命令,支配
答案:B
寻找转折时不能出现矛盾。
6. 从内容进行判断。可供选择的只有两个词。
    detachment客观,超然
    disinterestedness公正,客观
    答案:Epartiality偏袒 disciplined守纪律的,严于律己的,有自律精神的,一丝不苟的
7. although表示转折关系。
remind提醒
convince确信
exorcise驱魔,驱邪,驱除(有宗教色彩)
答案:D    disabuse打消某人的念头adamant坚持自己的观念
remain表示对原有观点的延续。
