British unemployment rate largely remains unchanged

　　LONDON, Jan. 19 (Xinhua) -- Britain's unemployment rate from September to November in 2010 remained unchanged at 7.9 percent, compared with the three months to October, according to the latest statistics released by the British Office for National Statistics (ONS) on Wednesday.
　　The number of unemployed people aged from 16 to 64 in the country was registered at 2.5 million from September to November, 49,000 more than the figure recorded in the June-August period.
　　The September-November male unemployment increased by 43,000 to 1.48 million and the female unemployment advanced by 6,000 to 1.02 million.
