跟单员审查的内容主要是看客户的付款方式是否为企业可以接受的方式。因为每个企业都自定其付款条件，规定有些付款方式企业不能接受。国际贸易中的支付方式主要有：信用证结算方式、汇付、托收。
举例：买方应通过为卖方可接受的银行开立不可撤销的即期信用证，于装运月份前30天开至卖方，有效至装运日后15天，在中国议付。
The Buyer shall open through a bank acceptable to the Seller an irrevocable sight L/C to reach the Seller 30 days before the month of shipment, valid for negotiation in China until the 15th day after the date of shipment.
