Penetrate用法：①If something or someone penetrate a physical object or an area, they succeed in getting into it or passing through it.
例句：The distance was more than 350 miles and there were ridges to cross and a wilderness of woods and swamps to penetrate.(1996-10)
②If someone penetrate an organization, a group, or a profession, they succeed in entering it although it is difficult to do so.
③If someone penetrates an enemy group or a rival organization, they succeed in joining it in order to get information or cause trouble.
④if a company or country penetrates a market or area, they succeed in selling their products there.
例句：In the hypersensitive response, cells undergo rapid necrosis—that is, they become diseased and die—after being penetrated by a parasite. (1996-01)
Perceive
用法：①If you perceive something, you see, notice, or realize it, especially when it is not obvious.
②If you perceive someone or something as doing or being a particular thing, it is your opinion that they do this thing or that they are that thing.
