　Monomials 　　An expression with only one term is called monomial.
　　Example:
　　3x,2x2,and 4xy are all monomials.
　　2x+1,x+y,3(x+1),and x+x2 are not monomials.

　　There is no addition or subtraction in monomials.
　　Mono means one, as in monologue.
