　　BEIJING, Jan. 7 (Xinhua) -- China's land transfer revenue soared 70.4 percent to 2.7 trillion yuan (407.3 billion U.S. dollars) in 2010, as the country's fast urban development increased demand for land, the head of the Ministry of Land and Resources said Friday.
3 b5 Y. |2 d, Z9 z$ G1 R! K　　Planned land supply in 2010 reached 2.7 million mu (180,000 hectares) on the Chinese mainland, up 80 percent from actual supply in 2009, said Minister Xu Shaoshi.
　　The fast growth in land transfer revenue indicates urban development is increasingly dependent on land use, he said.
　　He expects increased demand for land in 2011 and through to 2015 amid the nation's rapid industrialization and urbanization.
　　Xu pledged the ministry will intensify efforts to control land for the property market.
