"Computers 4 Students"(C4S) provides students and adult learners with computers. It helps break down the economic, social, and cultural barriers1 to computing.
9 R0 v2 T b4 g. X We make the given and spare computers fresh with updated software. "Computers 4 Students", working with schools and non-profit2 organizations, provides an easy and economical way for poor families and students in need of home computers.% {4 J+ d% L6 W. c
The aim of C4S is to help poor students and others overcome the digital3 separation by making home computing available to everybody. C4S is a small non-profit organization located in the Columbia Pike Corridor of South Arlington, which provides computer hardware and software for low-income individuals and families in Arlington County.' k" C! Y% P: |. C5 O' \( Y
The organization’s method has been to renew given hardware and form community partnerships. And in this way it helps to increase the capacity4 of schools and non-profit organizations. To date, C4S’s work has worked on the provision of technology hardware for individuals and families helped by other local community development organizations.5 m; K8 K I+ c0 m5 q
