《傲慢与偏见》内容简介：
　　小说讲述了bennet一家五位千金的婚姻与爱情，表达了婚姻必须建立在爱情和经济两个基础上的婚姻观。傲慢而深情的达西先生成为小说塑造的一个经典形象。简奥斯丁的语言简练而幽默，反复品味，趣味无穷。
　　翻译例句：

　　翻译要点：
　　上面句子中entertain一词，大家通常了解的意思是“娱乐、招待、款待”，然而这个词还有另外一个常见的用法，就是表示“心怀、怀有、抱有（某种希望、想法等）”。我们可以说entertain a hope，或者entertain an idea。小说中的这个词可以就简单翻译成“很想、很希望”。

　　知道了这个词的意思，就要会在汉英翻译中巧妙地用上它，类似于“想过/考虑过/希望/琢磨/心怀……”这样的句型，都是可以用到entertain这个词的。

　　1.我指望在婚礼上见到他，但是他始终没有出现。
