翻译解读：希拉里在美国馆演讲中引用的诗句

　5月22日，美国国务卿克林顿在上海世博会美国馆招待会上发表讲话。讲话中她再次引用了一句诗：山重水复疑无路，柳暗花明又一村。她是如何用英语表述这两句诗的呢？

　　there is a poem from the southern song dynasty that reads: “after endless mountains and rivers that leave doubt whether there is a path out, suddenly one encounters the shade of a willow, bright flowers and a lovely village.”
　　这里“山重水复”可以简单说成endless mountains and rivers，而“疑无路”这三个字可以说是比较难翻译的一个地方，上文的译本中作了一个主语的转换，将“怀疑”的主语人省去了，用leave doubt that这个词组来表示，就使得译文简化了很多，不然一定要添译进去一个“人”的主体，译文很可能就比较冗长：after trudging through endless mountains and rivers，one might begin to doubt whether there is a path out。
