2 L, q9 N1 u( p4 D  `* P1.for → /
8 H* \: c. ( {9 l* e. [2 ^
2.majority → major; e5 Z( }* V' J  {( `& p; q
. B+ V6 p" s$ A3 v1 p3.of → from
4 L% [/ h' a5 Z6 f& c
4.long → longer
5 u: d- Y0 ?( z( G5 ^5. was ∧ first → the
2 j! K. V, K1 I1 d& Tthe +序数词具有名词意味,在这里the first即表示the first president。
7 X3 l+ R- w0 |( V# `% T; |5 s' D6. onto → into
# D  R4 |+ v4 ?1 L# A( D“搬进新居”应为“move in”或“move into”,move on意为“继续前进”,而“move onto”则是不存在的。5 y5 {: @, a6 \+ u5 {) {: k
7.live → living
3 V7 S# l8 n# z. 
  S: y% \% F( r6 H* u! V* O1 o1 E! ?8. so → too0 H& n3 |8 |! h$ }" P3 E5 w, S' m) [
应为“too…too…”。; @$ o. D1 t' |) a/ \( u
9. which ∧ underground → were 或which → them
: n0 @' P8 ]) E/ Q( T+ g. 
# f7 i+ X- p, p2 g, j10. appearing → appearance
appearing为appear(出现)的v.
