. @3 F4 h3 y3 F2 n) ^! s
  (Office ambience) 7 Z6 G, p% |) S
  CH:Hi Amy, how are you?
, C# ~- u& [% Z7 m( I) Q A:I'm fine.
5 r8 P5 O& Z+ a+ [3 N7 l A:As a matter of fact there is. I consider you a good friend as well as colleague. You know I have tried to help you as much as I can since you came to work at ABC.
K! W' F- E% F& f6 ^, s
  A:Unfortunately we have a problem right now. As we say in the United States, "I have a bone to pick with you". ) b8 w+ k( t1 p5 j4 t# o7 F
  C:"A bone to pick with me?" % |: X  z' v5 \2 ]; m3 n
  A:It means that I have a complaint about something that involves you. 9 [; ?2 ~* Q6 a# q7 M2 o+ g  ^9 J
. v: N. S2 ]% S
  A:Forgive me - I may be wrong, but I think you used my office while I was away last week. 0 M3 |7 b  _  v$ k
% ~4 ^7 ^3 {* t* q
  A:I would not have minded if you had asked me first. * ^: m: Q8 d' b/ r
, o% V2 W: K) n+ ? A:I understand, but you need to be aware that you shouldn't make yourself at home in someone else's office without first asking permission.
: }) r0 f/ v6 X: {: D  o# ? A:We will have to continue this later. I have a meeting in five minutes.

& b1 c( v0 w$ u) V# Q: z# T A:Chen Hao, you deserve to know what bothered me about your using my office without asking me first. You were not very considerate in some of the things you did. 9 _+ {( K, C3 v$ R/ ?" M
  c) S/ S; v- I% v; S$ a A:It appears that you ate your lunch in my office. & z* a3 _# F4 [/ l7 V+ R
( Y: G+ O0 |/ M5 L: G% H A:There were crumbs all over my desk. - c2 G8 D1 o( d" P% j: k
- T( N- k0 ?" |' H( r; @ A:And how do you explain the missing paper clips? I was down to my last few, and when I came back, there weren't any left. 9 `, g# W' J5 K: ]. ~
/ K% \+ b8 ~7 S A:And that means that you went through my desk to find them.
. ?1 o& j8 {' f9 K/ V* C7 V
A:Well, it's not. Even with good friends. Just because people are not at their desk, doesn't mean that you can make your self at home when they are not there.
3 F# D+ i+ H  q9 z C:你说得没错。
3 Y+ t) ?+ e; V+ B' w/ i A:I accept your apology. In the future remember to ask permission before you use a coworker's desk, office equipment or supplies. When you do receive permission, leave everything as you found it. 8 r2 ?7 `/ H$ Z* @, [1 \
