2 G- `5 P; Q8 `) A  (Office ambience)
; z' A0 |5 D& O% E  CH:Hi Amy, how are you? , S* I: ^2 h' c4 J& E3 p4 P6 \5 _
  A:I'm fine.
& W. m& S" I* s9 _" G3 e" }$ j  C:听上去你好像不太高兴?出什么事了吗? - K6 [, p, L" e
  A:As a matter of fact there is. I consider you a good friend as well as colleague. You know I have tried to help you as much as I can since you came to work at ABC. - w  q; }  w0 b
0 y" F  v  J1 Y3 u" a A:Unfortunately we have a problem right now. As we say in the United States, "I have a bone to pick with you".
1 c+ R- j3 T# @# Q3 ?  C:"A bone to pick with me?" - j7 x3 |, @: P
  A:It means that I have a complaint about something that involves you. ( S" ^: Y; z8 ~6 r& y* x) n
- H7 ^5 ]2 a6 [' |, q  A:Forgive me - I may be wrong, but I think you used my office while I was away last week. 1 h# K! F! P0 o" P
5 u. t) B/ x( A6 q
  A:I would not have minded if you had asked me first.
( ^3 H, S# e5 A1 f
  A:I understand, but you need to be aware that you shouldn't make yourself at home in someone else's office without first asking permission.
& J* J& e; I3 ?( H$ A; n  x" b, o  C:对不起,可你是怎么知道的呢?
3 j) M# k- c0 ]3 ]* y  A:We will have to continue this later. I have a meeting in five minutes.

" {( m/ y% a) D* M4 v2 l A:Chen Hao, you deserve to know what bothered me about your using my office without asking me first. You were not very considerate in some of the things you did.
7 A- v: Q1 j& a7 g1 c! x
  A:It appears that you ate your lunch in my office.
$ x$ P4 {8 U. K2 q: l  G! @+ {0 ]  C:你怎么知道的? " o7 T- m6 U: D, Z2 o- @
  A:There were crumbs all over my desk. 2 f$ _) j' x& B
# }2 W5 }$ u+ D8 T8 Y  A:And how do you explain the missing paper clips? I was down to my last few, and when I came back, there weren't any left. 3 O( t" \: ^% i8 h
  C:对不起,最后几个回形针用了。 9 F" N8 `3 l% j% k4 D9 }
  A:And that means that you went through my desk to find them. & Z/ v) H% X$ R: I+ w( f' B* a$ O! q  i
& M5 Z0 `8 a* w' S2 L7 G) V A:Well, it's not. Even with good friends. Just because people are not at their desk, doesn't mean that you can make your self at home when they are not there.
* L) D% O* k* P" Z A:I accept your apology. In the future remember to ask permission before you use a coworker's desk, office equipment or supplies. When you do receive permission, leave everything as you found it.
& @: K, @, h$ q9 I- J" q+ g+ c  C:我以后知道了,谢谢你告诉我。
