　　我们在很多地方都可以看到禁止入内的标示，那么这个在英语中该怎么说呢？
+ f( M3 D1 X4 ~4 \; Y1 o% l# f　　在美国口语中，禁止入内可以用off limits来表达。比如：Girls dorms are off limits to boys.女生宿舍男生禁止入内。你要是在某些学校见到这样的招牌，就得好好琢磨琢磨是什么意思，千万不可莽撞行动。再看一个例子：United States Secretary General Kofi Annan sent the team to survey eight presidential sites， which Iraq has declared off limits to UN weapons inspectors. 联合国秘书长科菲?安南派出这个小组，检查总统府的八处地点，但伊拉克宣布，这些地点禁止联合国武器检查人员入内。
' h! }3 U- n# h$ k  @　　禁止入内的另一个说法是out of bounds to，比如：In imperial times， Chang‘an Boulevard， which runs through the square from east to west， was a small dirt road out of bounds to commoners. 封建时代，贯穿天安门广场东西走向的长安街还是条小土路，禁止老百姓通行。 再比如：That part of town is out of bounds to soldiers. 镇上那片地区禁止士兵入内。
　　另外，还有的标示是非工作人员禁止入内，这在英语中可以用staff only 来表示。另外常见的表示禁止入内的标示还有：
