  b、 宾语从句  \1 [) i0 r, f! p: v" T$ l

6 L! U: |( ?& N: U3 w$ p  2)、长状语
, a6 y. M" E. X3 B# a 1 ~4 c7 s+ }% U& W
  3)、层层修饰
* G0 n5 U4 u; a: s ! E) S- q2 ~# ]
  4)、并列成分3 G" ^3 \, o% C/ Z9 U2 J$ l
) `& m6 q- B# `2 P) V' M3 l7 l. [: c
  2、 常见倒装搭配
) J/ e# T4 e2 v3 _. L
, M$ ^% }1 L. W( Y' \% O0 X  (1)、及物动词加介词:固定词组的固定搭配中,经常出现倒装情况,如:bring A to B,写作:bring to B A

  例:Yet Waltzer’s argument , however deficient , does point to one of the most serious weaknesses of capitalism-namely , that it brings to predominant positions in a society people who ,no matter how legitimately they have earned their material rewards , often lack those other qualities that evoke affection or admiration.

  类似的情况:throw over , insert into , import into , infer from, establish for , advocate as 等

( c  V, |; n% ]  3、 省略的几种情况' A$ @  Q, n2 S* k

4 ~1 k% D8 l9 b4 R  N* R+ H  (1)、重复的成分

! x$ x4 l+ Y- y$ V& h# K' V0 |  (2)、让步转折的省略:如although (but)0 t% g& p5 I* e

  (3)、定语从句引导词的省略which(that )( l& l( n8 C5 h: s' o" n

! Y, n, T) e* z8 y3 f  (4)、定语从句的引导词和系动词同时省略,变成后置定语

  如:qualities(such as “the capacity for hard work”) essential in producing wealth
  g' o9 K1 C+ y% T! |; p
2 N& G8 l% [! K  4、 短语被分割:如:
) A* c+ C* q0 b7 C' w# d* j& e
+ R9 {/ z' A8 Y2 H) E    such as, so that , too to , more than , from A to B , between A and B
# H4 B( p  ?  _$ f' J4 P" Z
$ L% c3 a" g- \- e! i4 A  5、 多重否定:如:7 }$ _6 @( S' C

+ s6 i5 d2 L, k8 S" S  Despite these vague categories , one should not claim unequivocally that hostility between recognizable classes cannot be legitimately observed .
