　　以下是gre阅读长难句实例分析。gre长难句一直都是考生比较头疼的一个问题，不是因为gre考试专门考察这部分，而是在gre阅读中需要明白这些长难句才能理解整篇文章的意思。

* C" G( }& [: f" r( B　　解释：句子是在regarding之后才开始难懂的。Regarding引导一个分词结构，修饰statement。分词中regard的宾语有两个，一个是socioeconomic class，另一个是support for the rebel and Loyallist caused,中间由and相连接，本句的不好懂之处在于，我们对support 的第一反应是把它当成动词，这样就有可能理解成and support for是与前面的agree with并列的谓语，当然这种理解在语法上是成立的，然而在逻辑上不成立。正确的理解是support作名词，与socioeconomic class并列。其实本题干的意思就是在问哪个阶层的人会支持哪一方。
