Saudi Basic Industries Corp (SABIC) is in talks with companies in China over potential investments in the mainland, Fahad Al-Swailem vice-president of the company's polyolefins unit, said in a South China Morning Post report.

"We are talking to a number of parties in China and we are optimistic that something will be happening in this area in the future," Al-Swailem said. $ o& Q4 P1 \' }% S# n7 R! J

SABIC is interested in setting up a manufacturing presence in China for its ethylene, polyethylene and polypropylene products.
