Chinese shares edged down 0.44 percent on Wednesday, trailing the downward trend of the previous three trading days, amid investors' wait-and-see attitude.
& Z7 z" J8 `8 U- ?/ |- o& Z3 M' n The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index fell 0.44 percent, or 10.90 points to end at 2,446.3. The Shenzhen Component Index closed at 8,249.6 points, up 56.84 points, or 0.69 percent.
8 b! r$ W/ I1 f. z( G/ D# T, E6 l Aggregate turnover on the two bourses edged up to 54.7 billion yuan (around 8 billion U.S. dollars) from 48.22 billion yuan on the previous trading day.
