Zhou, a Standing Committee member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, said during a tour of XCMG Group, a state-owned heavy machinery firm, based in Xuzhou City, that large SOEs shouldered major tasks in promoting innovation.2 S h8 l! n$ }; s, z! s
He said XCMG should develop more core technologies and continue leading the sector.
