2 @, y) k2 \3 S- ]区分同义词、近义词，尤其要区分在英语中不是同义词、却又译成同一个汉语词的那些英语单词或短语

　　译员要做到表达确切，首先应能正确理解词汇和短语。由于图省时、省事，许多人往往愿意使用英汉词典，查阅时，又常常不认真阅读例句，这样就分不清同样译成“坚持”的insist on和persist in两类词的区别。如果培养了查阅英文词典的习惯，就能够避免许多类似的错误。词典告诉我们insist on多用于意见、主张，它的意思是state or declare forcefully，esp. when other people oppose or disbelieve one，例如：She kept insisting on her innocence. 或demand(sth。)forcefully, not accepting a refusal，例如：I insist that you take immediate action. 而persist in多于用行动，它的意思是continue to do sth.，esp. in an obstinate and determined way and in spite of opposition，argument or failure，例如：We persist in reform and opening up. 因此，注意同义词、近义词的异同可以保证口译正确传达原意。
