눈 근육 혹사에 안구건조증 생기기 쉬워   버스나 지하철처럼 흔들리는 공간에서 소형액정화면을 시청하면 자신도 모르게 안구는 조절운동을 계속해 눈의 피로도가 증가한다. 눈의 조절근이 평소보다 과도하게 일을 하는 것이다. , w. l, R/ y. g' h2 Y$ }
특히 성장기 아동이나 청소년은 눈이 완전히 성장하지 않았기 때문에 눈 근육의 혹사는 자칫 굴절이상을 유발해 시력을 떨어뜨릴 수 있다.
, H: d3 e  b9 W% k  Z+ l% ^/ t4 ?  또 작은 화면에 집중하면 눈 깜박거림이 감소되고 눈물층이 쉽게 파괴돼 안구건조증이 생기기 쉽다.
" w; `+ M) [+ h3 T눈물층은 12초가량 눈 표면을 보호하는 기능을 하는데 이보다 길어지면 눈물이 증발해 기능이 떨어진다. 따라서 장시간 시청할 때는 의도적으로 눈을 깜박거려 주어야 한다.
- P* I# b( P! ]. t) k6 Y성균관대 의대 삼성서울병원 안과 정태영 교수는 소형액정화면 시청의 바른 자세는 책이나 신문을 볼 때의
4 W% |# J: n: f" @  S  세와 크게 다르지 않다며 최소한 30cm 정도 떨어져서 힘을 빼고 등을 수직으로 한 편안한 자세를 유지해야 해야만 눈의 긴장을 풀 수 있다고 말했다.
1 t1 ^# x4 ?+ ^* z6 I눈의 피로를 예방하려면 1시간 시청한 뒤 10분 정도 눈을 감거나 먼 곳을 바라보는 것이 좋다. 5 {2 E4 F, {) @) a5 R4 h5 i: ^5 [
눈 피로가 쌓일 때는 수시로 눈 주위의 경혈을 자극하는 것이 좋다. 관자놀이라고 불리는 태양혈과 눈 안쪽과0 v) `9 z7 I' N2 R9 D! D# o' R9 _

  콧날 사이에 오목하게 들어간 정명을 지압해 주면 좋다. 또 눈을 감은 뒤 귓불의 중앙점을 10초 동안 엄지와 검지를 이용해 통증을 약간 느낄 정도로 누르면 도움이 된다.
