　因为以往已经考过一些日常生活最常见的场景，所以最近几次考试中也在寻找一些新的场景词来加大考试的难度以及考察考生的真实水平，本题题干中其实已经出现了答案“campus”一词，所以可以说不是一道难题。但如果考生没有听到这个词的话，无疑要通过后文一些有相当难度的词来推测了，比如： trees, lawns, columns, architecture等等，像lawns, architecture, Greek style这样的难词往往使考生最后云里雾里，孰不知最重要的部分其实就是那个campus。 　　类似的题目前几次考试中也有，比如2005年1月第9题，而更巧的是该题就是样题第18题：

　　语音语调作为一个辅助手段，在考试中往往起着不可估量的作用，看到样题第17题(2005年6月考题第10题)：
　　M: This article is nothing but advertising for housing developers. I don’t think the houses for sale are half that good.

) A- K5 x! E5 l0 w/ `　　综上所述，试点考试将依然遵循以往的考试规律和特点，一脉相承，但所谓的短对话却也越来越长，这也体现了现在考试在句型句式、言外之意和内容复杂化三个方面的发展趋势。
