　　Then to be a good English is essential, it enable more students to study English, learn English well and use it in life. An English teacher also makes great contribution to national communication and enhances mutual understanding with English-speaking countries. An English teacher is a sacred occupation, it means to be umselfish, kind, outgoing and well-loved. Teachers' heart should be just like an ocean.

You can acquire this through listening English radio and watching English movies. If a teacher doesn't have a good listening, he will not know the listening content, then he is not able to give examples to  students, guide them to listen and imitate its intonation as well. If a teacher has a low listening level and he need see listening material before teaching, it is not persusive to achieve good results.
　　Secondly, speaking and reading. When teaching, teachers should insist on speaking English as much as possible and sometimes you can use mother tongue to help teach if neccessary. your speaking must be standard, real and the speed should be moderate. In class, you can also practice it with proper body language to build English-teaching atmosphere and cultivate students good language sense. Reading should also be exactly right.
　　At last, a good English teacher should make the most use of the two weapon---talk and chalk. Agood English teacher should not only speaks good but also writes well on the blackboard.
　　Furthermore, if you're an English teacher, you should also act well and sing English songs well. This can help you enhance relationship with your students.
